20th Annual Dia de los Muertos at Hollywood Forever

Tallula’s Día De Los Muertos Fiesta

Gardenia Ramirez at Lola y Tula has created an altar to commemorate loved ones who have passed and she joins a face painter from 4 – 7 pm for kids (and kids at heart), all to celebrate Día del Los Muertos. All-night long, enjoy traditional holiday dishes like a Chile Relleno with crab and black mole, Flan with candied walnuts, along with Tlayudas with potatoes, refried black beans, escabeche and crispy bacon. They will have buckets of beer served with assorted house made salts (tamarind with charred herbs, pineapple chili, citrus mango), and cocktail specials like the Charred Island, a Mexican chocolate martini with mezcal and a spicy, tropical tequila. Eataly L.A.‘s Restaurant Fest

This two-week long dining festival features $18 and $28 two-course lunch and dinner deals and $25 bottles of wine at La Pizza & La PastaIl Pesce Cucina, and Terra. You will find fresh Italian truffles at each of the three restaurants. Have them shaved over pastas, pizzas, grilled meats, and more. Along with the truffles, enjoy Barolo! Known as the “King of Wines and Wine of Kings,” Barolo is a complex red wine with bold flavors and graceful aging, that pairs perfectly with rich fall dishes. $18 – $28; Through November 17th.

Humphry Slocombe’s First Plant Based Pint

Humphry Slocombe has been joined by Top Chef finalist Melissa King and Whole Foods Market to create a brand new flavor, and their first-ever plant-based pint! Their newest plant-based creation, Almond Chocolate Crunch, is now available to ice cream fans at Whole Foods Market stores. Almond Chocolate Crunch is made with a dairy-free almond base accented with warm spices, while chocolate flakes and candied almond pieces give it a satisfying crunch. Complex and layered, it tastes like a candy bar, but grown up. Celebrate the launch of the new flavor! World Vegan Day at Fresh on Sunset

Winner of Best New International Cocktail Bar Pops Up in LA

Maybe Sammy, will be taking over Arts District cocktail hotspot Here and Now for one night only.
