2nd & PCH Kicks Off the Holiday Season

Long Beach’s new destination retail center, 2nd & PCH, will host a weekend of holiday programming beginning with the reveal of the final installment of the property’s art program. DRUNK YOGA

Lucques Cookbook Supper: Rosetta

Lucques’ book-inspired dinner series continues this weekend, celebrating the publication of Elena Reygada’s cookbook, Rosetta. Named after Reygada’s internationally renowned restaurant in Mexico City, the book has recipes, culinary history and personal recollections. The evening will include dishes like sweet shrimp aguachile and guava roll with ginger ice cream. Birds & Bees’ Fat-Based Cocktail Series

As part of an ongoing series of monthly themed cocktail collections developed by bar manager Jake Larowe, Birds & Bees is mixing three limited-time drinks using healthy fats. For the rest of November, they will be serving the Avo-Bravo made with avocado-based with gin, inspired by a bloody mary, Bananas Krupa made with pecan-based with rum and sherry, and Coco-Bongo made with coconut-based with rum and absinthe, mixed with herbal teas, with hints of floral and vanilla.
