LASUNG HOUSE Brings Nostalgic Korean Comfort Food to K-Town

LASUNG HOUSE, the latest restaurant & marketplace concept by On6thAvenue Hospitality (Quarters, ORIGIN Korean BBQ), has opened in Koreatown! Specializing in homestyle Korean cuisine, LASUNG HOUSE pays homage to the resilience and heritage of first-generation immigrants. Through its recipes, techniques, and hearty portion sizes, the restaurant honors and celebrates home-style cooking and the hard-working spirit of immigrant families. The star of LASUNG HOUSE’s menu is its signature Korean-style Jumbo Pork Cutlet (왕돈가스), which is meticulously tenderized and gently fried to golden-brown perfection to resemble a large rib-eye steak. Inspired by the traditional Korean dish, which was often enjoyed during a special night out in the 80’s, the Pork Cutlet is topped with a house-special sauce that simmers for hours daily and served on a massive round dinner plate alongside a scoop of rice, macaroni salad, cabbage salad and a bowl of cream soup. The side banchan offerings include diced radish kimchi, pickled yellow radish, and jalapeno pickles, which are all made in-house. Adventurous foodies can indulge in the Spicy Pork Cutlet (매운왕돈가스), which is delicately drizzled with a rich sauce infused with bold and fiery spices. For a Korean take on Italian-style chicken parmigiana, the cutlet can be topped with cheese torched tableside, while non-meat eaters can get in on the jumbo-sized action with a Fish Cutlet and a Set of Fish and Shrimp Cutlets option. Various prices; Mondays – Thursdays, 11:00 am – 9:00 pm, Fridays – Saturdays, 11:00 am – 10:00 pm and Sundays, 12 – 9:00 pm; 3134 W. Olympic Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90006; 323.840.3069
