For over fifty years, Sunset Marquis has served as a home-away-from-home for incredible musicians like Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Blondie, Black Sabbath, The Killers, Slash, Chris Cornell, Green Day, Aerosmith, Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Kings of Leon and many, many more. To pay homage to those roots, Sunset Marquis continues its tradition this summer with its acoustic music showcase, Live@Sunset Marquis. Each summer Sunset Marquis gets the chance to discover new talent and give back to the entertainment community that has supported us so well throughout the years. Eat/See/Hear: Groundhog Day

CHAYA Downtown Summer Festival 2018
Come relax and bask in the lantern-covered Japanese Beer Garden located on the CHAYA Downtown patio while sipping and savoring rare Japanese Whisky and a special cold Shiso Sapporo. For those that want to cool down and indulge, CHAYA Downtown will also be preparing three refreshing and delicious handcrafted mojitos in three thirst-quenching flavors: strawberry, passionfruit and cucumber ($8 each). CHAYA Downtown Corporate Executive Chef Yukou Kajino and Chef de Cuisine Oscar Cuayaare are firing up the Yakitori Grill and serving their Yakitori Skewers, including the chicken and spring onion served with house-made tartar; beef tongue with shishito and salsa verde; Tandoori spiced shrimp with spicy aioli; and tomato & summer squash with raita sauce. The Chefs will also be grilling up lobster tails and offering a variety of summer snacks like the Elote Loco, comprised of grilled corn, aioli, tajin and cotija cheese. Savor the grilled oysters with garlic butter and soy sauce, and then sweeten things up with the grilled yellow peach accompanied with chili honey and vanilla ice cream. Jackalope Summer Nights
This time around, tasty treats from local Los Angeles creative foodies are coming To Jackalope Summer Nights. Enjoy a wide variety of food booths and trucks that will be serving up yummy desserts. The event will host a number of summer evening activities as acoustic musicians will fill the park with atmosphere. Support local artists and celebrate this summer with an ambience and aura that’ll sweep anyone off of their feet. Join in free Sunset Yoga Classes by YogaWorks on both Friday and Saturday of the event from 6pm to 7pm. This class is open to all levels, and blends precision in alignment with breath awareness and fluid movement for a balanced practice. Come prepared to learn how to move your body skillfully and safely on the mat and will leave class feeling a satisfying workout for both body and mind. All participants who pre-register for the class will receive a $5 gift card to shop any booth at the fair. You can also join in DIY Activities. Hemlock Park who will be hosting a series of DIY activities throughout the weekend. Classes are offered as (1) for $12 or (2) for $20. The Air Plant Terrarium Workshop will give you the chance to work with makers to learn tips and tricks to create a custom living terrarium. Participants will choose their own plant, glass container, moss, crystals or miniature figurine! The Essential Oil Perfume Workshop is where you can create a custom fragrance and choose essential oils to make a perfume or cologne to take home in a glass spray bottle. The Handkerchief Stamping Workshop will have you choosing a fabric tote bag or handkerchief and customize it with fabric inks, stamps, and stencils.
