La Sandia Mexican Kitchen & Tequila Bar (395 Santa Monica Place #305N, Santa Monica, CA 90401; 310.393.3300) is pulling out all the stops when it comes to their new weekend bottomless brunch. Every Saturday and Sunday, enjoy unlimited, elevated Mexican food and drinks in their gorgeous, open-air location.
For just $39, enjoy bottomless cocktails like mimosas, bloody marias, micheladas, and margaritas. Plus, Chef Richard Sandoval’s menu has delicious, unlimited dishes like Chilaquiles; Huevos Rancheros stacked with tortillas, fried eggs, beans, spicy salsa roja and creamy avocado; Huevo con Chile Relleno, a vegetable-stuffed chile with queso and chipotle sauce; Fried Eggs Divorciadas smothered in red and green salsas served alongside chorizo and black beans; breakfast-style Enfrijolada; and my personal favorite, the Mexican Benedict with a poached egg on a corn masa cake topped with pork carnitas and a poblano mole.
As for tacos, they have soft corn tacos including Egg & Chorizo, the Bacon, Egg & Cheese and an Egg & Rajas. They also have two specialty quesadillas that include the Beef Barbacoa and Chicken Tinga. Along with Bottomless Brunch, you will also get a bowl of fruit salad, as well as La Sandia’s famous made-to-order Guacamole as a part of the for the table section of the menu.
Postres, include desserts like the Mexican French Toast and a delectable Tres Leches Cake. You will leave full, buzzed and satisfied.
Saturday & Sunday, 11 am-4 pm. There is a 2-hour time limit per table, and the full party must choose the Bottomless Brunch menu for all to enjoy.
