Walking into a salon, especially a Los Angeles salon (in Sunset Plaza, no less) can be very intimidating. You live in a city with some of the most beautiful people and, lets face it, this city is very based on looks. Well, that’s not the case at Eden by Eden Sassoon. From the receptionist to the stylists, to Eden herself, everyone was so welcoming, happy, and non-judging. I immediately fell in love.
This salon has it all. It’s your one-stop-shop for hair, nails, and make up. I was whisked away to get my makeup done by Katarina who was knowledgeable, fun, and made me feel beautiful. I loved that she worked with my skin’s chemistry and didn’t cake on the makeup. This girl, hates foundation. She gave me a glow without making my skin feel oily. She knows makeup and created an amazing look.
From there, I went into the hands of Katie, who I bonded with over being East coast girls. Katie makes doing hair look effortless. She worked with my hair’s texture and created two looks. The first being smooth and straight with amazing volume and the second that was beach waves. Katie loves what she does and it shows. She’s a down-to-earth, girl’s girl and besides loving what she can do with your hair, you will love hanging out with her.
Also, little hint…their blowouts are only $35! That’s the cheapest I have heard of in Los Angeles!
