Brewery Art Walk
This biannual art walk takes place in the world’s largest art complex, located in a former Pabst Blue Ribbon brewery. The Big Quiet
The Big Quiet—known for bringing thousands of people together to meditate at iconic locations—arrives in Los Angeles for a mass meditation and sound experience inside the stunning L.A. Central Library Rotunda. The mass meditation session will feature live sound bath practitioners, string instrumentalists, surprise musicians and special guest performances. James Beard Foundation AnnouncesTaste America® Tour
The James Beard Foundation (JBF) announced the cities and dates for its sixth annual  Taste America® national culinary tour. The traveling series brings one-of-a-kind dining experiences and educational opportunities to 10 dynamic culinary destinations including Austin, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Louisville, New Orleans, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Francisco, and Seattle. In addition to spotlighting the delicious food around the country, Taste America will focus on amplifying JBF food waste and sustainability initiatives and will directly contribute to the Foundation’s Scholarship programs. This weekend, join in an evening that begins with a reception featuring cocktails and hors d’oeuvre from local chefs and restaurateurs such as Wes Avila (Guerilla Tacos, Los Angeles), Raphael Francois (Tesse, West Hollywood), Pawan Mahendro (Badmaash, Los Angeles), Mei Lin (Nightshade, Los Angeles),Curtis Stone (Maude, Beverly Hills), as well as Host Chef Holly Jivin (The Bazaar, Tres, Los Angeles). Afterwards, you will be seated for an extraordinary dinner prepared by Taste America Visiting All-Star Andrew Carmellini (The Dutch, NYC) and Taste America Local All-Star Ludo Lefebvre (Trois Mec, Los Angeles), who will curate a menu showcasing America’s rich and diverse culinary scene. Fall Festival Returns to The Original Farmers Market
The Original Farmers Market’s oldest and most beloved celebration, Fall Festival, which was established in 1934, returns! The Festival originally launched just a few months after the Market first opened. In the Festival’s earliest days, merchants would create Fall-themed floats, which they would parade through the Market to promote their business. While the parade no longer exists, most merchants still dress up in costumes and decorate their stalls.  There are many opportunities for festive photography throughout the Market, including Fall-inspired cut-outs and backgrounds, adding to the spirit of the celebration. Activities include pedal-powered tractor pull competitions; an animal-friendly petting zoo with creatures of all varieties; All-Alaskan Pig Races, featuring flat-track racing and hurdling pigs; arts and crafts including a Harvest Knot Workshop with American Straw; and a classic “no hands” pie-eating contest sponsored by Du-par’s. Mr. Jack O’ Lantern’s Game Zone will feature pumpkin bowling, candy corn hole, pumpkin decorating, pumpkin putting, an R.I.P. ring toss and pumpkin knock. Rose Bowl’s Craftoberfest

Over 30 curated craft breweries from across Southern California will participate in Craftoberfest Los Angeles, providing a delicious gastronomic experience influenced by the world’s largest beer festival in Germany. Oyster Festival
Grand Central Market and The Oyster Gourmet host oyster farmers from across North America at this fourth annual event. TUMBI’s New Happy Hour Menu & Chef’s Tasting Menu

For the first time since its opening, TUMBI is offering a happy hour menu that features dosas and hearty kabob burgers, that are reflective of Chef Ali’s playful approach to Modern Indian cuisine.
