Santa Ana will once again host their 4th of July celebration at Centennial Park. Summer of Music Free Concerts on the Pier
For over 20 years, the Redondo Pier Association has sponsored the biggest free summer concert series in the South Bay of Los Angeles. Pico House Hits the Streets
Owners Philip Moses (Bestia, Ray’s And Stark Bar, Lindy & Grundy) and Christopher Chi (Bestia, Blue Hill at Stone Barns) have a new food truck that will specialize in healthy grain bowls. Business partner Gemma Matsuyama (Bestia, Blue Hill at Stone Barns) will provide desserts through her new pastry company, Heavy Cream. The four flavor packed grain bowls will include Robertson Short Rib with beef bacon, pasilla puree, broccoli, swiss chard, radicchio, tomato chutney, and crispy shallots; Crenshaw Meatballs with pork & chicken meatball, coconut curry, garbanzo beans, jicama slaw, and honey roasted peanuts; Grandma’s Pork with gochujang braised pork shoulder, chrysanthemum purée, garlic confit, green kale, and sesame vinaigrette; and Union Lamb with harissa roasted lamb shoulder, carrot puree, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, mint, and goat cheese. Versions of the Robertson Short Rib and Union Lamb can be made vegetarian/vegan.
