Earth Day $1 Sale at Buffalo Exchange
Give every animal a chance! Buffalo Exchange will host its annual Earth Day $1 Sale, where all proceeds from the purchase of $1 items will be donated to The Fund for Animals, an affiliate of The Humane Society of the United States. The Fund for Animals operates the nation’s largest and most diverse network of animal care centers. Annual Earth Day benefits at Buffalo Exchange locations have raised over $464,000 for environmental causes since 1997. Saturday, locations here.

Komodo Venice Hosts Chef Samuel Monsour’s “Chuck Taylor’s Fried Chicken All Stars” Pop-Up
Komodo’s Venice location will host the second in the series of Boston Chef Samuel Mousour’s “Chuck Taylor’s Fried Chicken All Stars” pop-ups. You will have a choice of Komodo Executive Chef Erwin Tjahyadi’s happy hour version of Nashville-inspired crispy deep-fried chicken drenched with homemade chili oil or Chef Samuel Monsour’s low country-style in buttermilk brine, Carolina gold sauce, and Bojangles’ fry seasoning. Your ticket includes a half of a fried chicken of choice, miso-bacon corn, cookout slaw, bottomless macaroni & cheese (featuring Vermont Sharp Cheddar and Lagunitas Little Sumpin’ Sumpin’ Ale), and an ice cream sandwich. Komodo will be offering two featured drinks for the evening – Spiked Mint Lemonade and Spiked Mint Sweet Iced Tea ($5). Angel City Brewery Celebrates Spring with a Charitable, Fashion Event
Celebrate Earth Day and the kick-off to spring with a day of fashionable fun to benefit the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. St. Vincent de Paul will be on-site collecting donations of gently-used clothing, shoes and accessories, while also selling items from their downtown shop. Meanwhile artists and local vendors will be set up in the brewery selling artisanal wares. Those who donate five or more products during the event will receive a raffle ticket, redeemable throughout the day to enter to win products from Angel City Brewery, St. Vincent de Paul and Beer Bazaar vendors. The day’s main event will be three fashion shows in the brewery’s Beer Hall at 3 pm, 4 pm and 5 pm. The looks from the shows will be available for purchase following the presentations. Foodism food truck will be parked in the lot serving their signature dishes.
