Danielle Cuccio a Private Yoga “Somatologist” based in Los Angeles and her health & lifestyle brand, Cuccio Somatology, has brought her clients peace, health and clarity so they can function and live happier lives despite their busy schedules.
She started Cuccio Somatology when, as an Esthetician, found her clients wanting a quick fix (when we all know, that’s never the solution). She decided to learn more about diet, fitness, sleep patterns, positive thinking and skincare routines to understand the effects it had on her clients’ skin and overall beauty. She also brought these learnings into her Yoga Instruction. It wasn’t just about the poses, but about the body and learning anatomy on a deeper level, so she took numerous classes at UCLA and realized that in order to fully understand beauty and get the results her clients wanted, she had to work with them from within on many levels. It’s a real thing that when you’re happy, you glow!
So·ma·tol·o·gy: The study of the body and assisting others in improving their general wellness and aesthetic appearance through information and practice of healthy lifestyle habits. The goal is to have beautiful skin from within, taking all components that make us healthy into consideration…while being happy along the way!
YOGA is a big part of this and Danielle felt that yogis were willing to listen to this Somatology lifestyle. She believes that the next step isn’t becoming a nutritionist, a yoga instructor or a esthetician, but becoming a Somatologist. We must understand all components in order to understand true beauty, health and wellness.
