Berkshire House, More Than Your Average Sports Bar

The owners of San Fernando Valley’s The Woodman and Jalapeño Pete’s have struck gold again with their newest establishment, Berkshire House. Not your average sports bar, Berkshire House is the perfect combination of sports, a NY pizzeria and an upscale cocktail lounge.

Located in Mid City, this neighborhood watering hole is THE go to spot to watch sports. With 30 large flat screen TVs, the owners guarantee your sports viewing experience will be nothing short of perfection. The large dining room houses a combo of high tables, booths and long lounge tables and chairs. If sports aren’t your thing, Berkshire House has you covered. Grab a board game from their collection of Connect Four, Jenga, BattleShip and other classic games, and let the trash talking begin!

The menu includes food that makes for the perfect combo of sports, laughs and drinks. You must try the authentic NY Pizza and  tasty bites ranging from: Wings, Garlic Knots, Creamy Parmesan Spinach Dip, Calamari, Pub Chips and my personal favorite, Buffalo Cauliflower. No sports bar would be complete without warm, yummy sandwiches and Berkshire House has 4 that will make your mouth water. The Chicken Parmesan is a favorite, along with the Italian Grinder and Sausage, Pepper and Onion hero. The Berkshire Cheesesteak made with fresh ribeye is a top seller. Chopped Cobb, Caesar and Spinach Salads are also available.

Brunch is by far my favorite meal and Berkshire House offers the perfect brunch menu to kick off your Sunday Funday. Brunch items include: Cinnamon Knots. Breakfast Stromboli, Breakfast Burrito and Chicken & Waffles.

Now, first and foremost, Berkshire House is a bar, and they have an extensive drink menu with ice cold beers on tap, wine, and delicious specialty cocktails. For liquor drinkers, Berkshire House is the place for you. Choose to order from a variety of Vodkas, Rums, Tequilas, Mezcals, and Gins. Whiskey and Scotch drinkers have hit the mother load as Berkshire House offers pages and pages of different Whiskeys and Scotches.

This massive sports bar is two floors. The main room is downstairs, while the upstairs comes with your own private section, perfect for special events and parties. No need to wait for a drink as the upstairs has its own full service bar.

The Berkshire House Bar managers are constantly adding specials and currently Happy Hour offers $3 select wine, beer and cocktails from 5 pm – 8 pm. Wed, Feb. 5 marks the launch of Wicked Wing Wednesday! Patrons can enjoy $.25 wings and $5 beers from 5 pm – 2 am.

Are you looking for a place to hang with your friends and watch the Big game on Sunday?
