This classic has a young boy, Elliott, protecting his new best friend/brother from an alien mother. Celebrate July 4th with E.T. July Fourth at the Marina
One of LA’s most impressive fireworks displays takes place over the water, so you can catch the action either from the beach or nearby Burton Chace Park or Fisherman’s Village. Fisherman’s Village will be blasting music synchronized to the fireworks. County parking lots in the marina will be charging between $7 – $15, and from there you can catch the Beach Shuttle (which only runs till 8 pm), or the WaterBus which goes till midnight. Grand Park + The Music Center’s Fourth of July Block Party
Enjoy nine acts — including ska/reggae band The Delirians, African-global beats DJ Blaq Pages, and singer-songwriter Victoria La Mala, as they will take over two stages throughout the day. If soccer’s more your bag, head to this Cal State campus stadium to watch a Major League Soccer match between LA Galaxy and Toronto FC. Fourth of July Fireworks at Seaside Lagoon

Palisades Fourth of July Parade, Concert and Fireworks
Start your celebration with a parade starting at on Sunset Boulevard in the middle of town.
