Salon Royale (2399 N Lincoln Ave., Altadena, 91001) is a family owned salon in Altadena. It’s relaxed and welcoming. I loved how everyone I can across said hello and introduced themselves. Although, this house of beauty is off the beaten path, I would frequent it for any service you need. Plus, their prices can’t be beat!
With running hoopLA, I am fortunate in that I have amazing stylist work their magic on my hair, nails, make-up, etc. When I met with Jessica of Salon Royale, I wanted to change it up and do a style I haven’t done before. Why not try a middle part? (Yes, it’s simple, but ask any lady…it’s a change).
Jessica not only knocked my hair out of the park, but she was so knowledgeable about why she was putting certain products in my hair and gave me tips on how to create the look on my own at home. On aspect of having your hair done, whether it’s cut, colored or styled, is your chemistry and relationship with the stylist. Jessica was so calming and cool, not to mention hilarious. I had to work at not moving my head too much because I was laughing. It was a great way to get ready for my night out.
I left Salon Royale with with a fabulous head of hair, knowledge of how to style it myself, and a new friend/stylist I will go to again and again.
