Pier 76 Fish Grill

Downtown Long Beach’s historic Cooper Arms building now is home to Pier 76 Fish Grill (455 E. Ocean Blvd., #12, Long Beach, 90802) from chef Chris Krajacic (Walt’s Wharf). The dining room seats 40 and the patio/courtyard along Ocean Boulevard seats about double that. They are serving up classic American seafood with market fish brought in daily. Bites include Pier 76 chowder (ocean clams, smoked bacon, Idaho potatoes, and fresh cream), shrimp & fish ceviche, tuna poke, mussel poke, and grilled artichoke. You chose a main protein like grilled fish: swai, tilapia, yellowtail, jumbo shrimp or chicken and then a side: broccoli slaw, Vermont white cheddar mac & cheese, black kale & tomato salad, and English pea & sea shell pasta salad. There’s also specialties like a grilled fish sandwich and California mussels and fries. Full menu here.

Open daily from 11 am-9 pm.
