This Labor Day weekend, the Fine Arts Theater Beverly Hills is celebrating 60 years of Star Trek by screening all six original films in Super 70mm. (9/1): Yoga Flow, Surfing, and Sound Bath at Happy Yoga Beach Sessions

Spend your Labor Day weekend by giving back to yourself with a yoga and surfing session with Happy Yoga. Part beach yoga, part surfing lesson, these weekly Sunday sessions are the brainchild of two fitness-loving friends, yoga instructor Kristina, and her bestie and surfing teacher Nick. Their motto? Connect with yourself and your natural environment for a morning of sun, sand, and wellness. The session starts with a 45-minute yoga flow on the surfboards, before hitting the water for 90 minutes of surfing. Then get ready for some sound healing with a soothing beach sound bath. At-Home Labor Day Cocktail Recipes

Midnight Pear-secco (Created by Reyka Vodka Brand Ambassador Jeff Naples)

  • Ingredients:
    • 2 parts Reyka Vodka
    • 1 part pear syrup
    • 2 parts prosecco or sparkling wine 
    • Edible gold dust
    • Pear slices
  • Method:
    • Add Reyka Vodka, pear syrup, and edible dust to a shaker. 
    • Shake to combine and strain into a coupe or champagne flute. 
    • Top with chilled prosecco or sparkling wine

Ride On (Created by Sebastien Derbomez, William Grant & Sons Manager, Brand Advocacy)

  • Ingredients:
    • 2 parts Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum
    • 1/2 parts fresh lemon juice
    • 1/2 parts Sailor Jerry Ironsides BBQ sauce
    • 1 part pineapple juice
    • 3 parts IPA beer
  • Method: Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker. Shake and strain into an ice filled highball glass rimmed with GYAO Mango Habanero Seasoning. Top with 3 parts IPA beer of choice. Garnish with a lemon slice.

Cucumber Lemonade

  • Ingredients:
    • 1 part Hendrick’s Gin
    • 1 parts lemon juice
    • 1 parts sugar syrup
    • 3 parts soda water
  • Method: Combine all ingredients in a highball filled with cubed ice. Lightly stir and serve. Garnish with 3 thinly sliced rounds of cucumber.

The Freshest Margarita

  • Ingredients:
    • 2 parts Milagro Silver
    • 3/4 part agave nectar*
    • 1 part fresh lime juice
    • 1 lime wheel
  • Method: Pour all ingredients into a Boston shaker, add ice, shake and strain over fresh ice into a rocks glass. Garnish with a lime wheel. *Or Substitute with Simple Syrup.
