Soulmate in West Hollywood is the perfect open-air restaurant imbued with feelings of warm community and Spanish-Mediterranean hospitality—perfect for a summer celebration. Featuring a massive patio that takes center stage at the West Hollywood space, the outdoor area highlights a massive eucalyptus, as well as vines and florals along the plush seating arrangements. With the layout pairing colorful booths along with community areas such as the live fire and bar area, guests are welcome to indulge in Soulmate’s creative menu which takes a modern twist on the Spanish, Mediterranean, and Californian cuisines. Enjoy the decadent and filling Pork Belly Sliders ($16) or share the Lamb Skewers ($28) with a larger party of friends. From the mouthwatering menu to the chic outdoor patio, SunCafé is my favorite vegan spot in the Valley. Dine on the shaded patio while listening to music, and remember to add your wish to the patio’s Wishing Tree. TATEL (Beverly Hills)

Founded in 2014 and backed by stellar partners Rafael Nadal, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Pau Gasol, TATEL is an internationally acclaimed lifestyle restaurant featuring Spanish cuisine. Taking advantage of LA’s beautiful climate, guests can enjoy ample open-air dining space on the front enclosed patio, as well as in the street-facing terrace area. TATEL’s back patio, El Patio is a garden oasis complete with hanging flowers and lush greenery. On weekends, El Patio hosts local DJ sets and a cover band. Telefèric Barcelona (Brentwood)

Transport yourself to Spain through Telefèric Barcelona’s authentic menu of tapas and signature paellas. The recently opened Brentwood location is Telefèric’s first Southern California outpost and features a super-secret back patio for the perfect intimate date night or gathering with friends. Tulsi Indian Eatery is the perfect pit stop for a summer lunchtime with a menu that can satisfy any guest’s cravings. Bringing the hearty and spicy, yet sophisticated taste of India to the sunshiney streets of LA, Tulsi’s DTLA and Northridge locations feature a clean outdoor patio where guests can soak in the summer sun in large and small groups.
