Pacifica Hotels Adds Fight Like a Girl Cocktail to Support Breast Cancer Prevention Awareness

Pacifica Hotels is raising awareness for breast cancer prevention. Each of their properties, the Marina del Rey HotelJamaica Bay Inn & The Wayfarer DTLA, support Breast Cancer Awareness Month with the Fight Like a Girl cocktail. The seasonal gin and tonic is made with Sipsong Indira Gin and a pop of flavorful additions. A portion of each glass supports breast cancer prevention awareness through Sipsong’s donation, a movement to use genetic testing to screen for breast cancer. Various prices, hours, and locations

Recipe for Fight Like a Girl:

  • 2 oz. Sipsong Indira Gin
  • ½ oz. Pomegranate grenadine
  • ½ oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1-2 oz. Fever-Tree light tonic
  • Pomegranate seeds
  • Shake Indira gin, lemon juice, and grenadine with ice for 10 seconds. Add tonic with 15 fresh pomegranate seeds, pour into a Collins glass, and serve.

Century City’s newest luxury hotel, Fairmont Century Plaza, is shining in pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month. The Peninsula Beverly Hills Honors Breast Cancer Awareness Month

The Peninsula Beverly Hills is honoring Breast Cancer Awareness Month with pink initiatives throughout October. The five-star luxury hotel is making donations to benefit The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, whose mission is to prevent and cure breast cancer by advancing the world’s most promising research. The hotel’s traditional afternoon tea is now a Pink Afternoon Tea ($125+), Wednesdays – Sundays. For every table booked, the hotel donates $5 to BCRF. Seatings occur at 11:00 am, 1:30 pm, and 4:00pm, and reservations can be made by calling 310.975.2736.
