Instagram meets Yelp with Skorch, a new iOS app that serves as a heat map of cool restaurants, bars, coffee shops and things to do in L.A. Consider it your new go-to database for hot spots around town. Places are deemed “Skorch Worthy” based on the food, atmosphere and overall experience of each spot, as rated by locals, travelers and influencers alike. More than an app, Skorch is a community for people to create “hotlists” of their favorite places on the app, submit new discoveries they deem Skorch Worthy, follow each other, and post to their Skorch profiles in real time while they’re out. The Celebration Sangria features a blend of Copper Ridge Cabernet Sauvignon, Fireball Whiskey, strawberry puree, pineapple, cranberry, and lemon juice with just a touch of organic agave (available in 16 oz. and 32 oz. to-go portions). 9th Annual Turkey Trot 5k/10k Returns on Thanksgiving Morning to Support The Midnight Mission
The 9th Annual Turkey Trot Los Angeles, returns to DTLA on Thanksgiving morning with hopes of raising $100,000 for The Midnight Mission. This year’s run will be both live and virtual and is the perfect way to burn calories before your big meal. Choose to run or walk the 5K or 10K courses and half-mile Widdle Wobble for the kids.
