Grain Whiskey Bar Reopens in L. A.

Tucked in the back corner of Playa Provisions (co-owned and operated by Top Chef Winner Brooke Williamson and husband Nick Roberts) stands Grain Whiskey Bar. The elevated cocktail lounge is under the direction of new Bar Manager Liam Odien. “With the reopening of Grain, I wanted to give the cocktail menu a complete refresh, with a focus on esoteric, and somewhat edgy creations that truly can’t be found anywhere else,” says Odien. “We enjoy welcoming whiskey enthusiasts, as well as creating an environment that is more approachable for those looking to learn from our staff, by offering a widely diverse cocktail menu ranging from rare spirits to familiar favorites.” At Grain, guests can expect an extensive list of 100+ domestic and international whiskeys, as well as both whiskey and non-whiskey cocktails, and build-your-own flights of whiskey, tequila, and rum. New signature creations include: The O.G. Lock & Key Natural Wine Event

Lock & Key, the Koreatown neighborhood den invites you to their second Lock & Key Natural Wine Event and live Gay Wine Podcast recording on Wednesday. Join them for a night of music, great food, and natural wine tastings and education. Guests can order the curated natural wines à la carte or in a flight, along with deep-dish pizza and other menu selections from Lock & Key’s kitchen. This event features three wines from Ranchelle Winery : Roccolina made of procanico, clairette and verdello (white wine), Millocchio made of procanico, malvasia, clairette and others (orange) and Pergolacce made of cillegiolo and grenache (light red).
