Virtual Pawlidays with Sofitel LA and Wagmor Pets Dog Rescue

Sofitel LA’s annual dog-friendly event is going virtual! This year, the hotel is partnering with Wagmor Pets Dog Rescue for an exclusive digital event. Known as a favorite rescue of celebrities (Kris Jenner, Chrissy Tiegen, Sandra Bullock, Jennifer Aniston), Wagmor aims to be a part of the solution to animal abuse and homelessness. Paratta Fundraiser

This weekend, Paratta is launching the Mastani Roll. Get ready to sink your teeth into juicy tender chicken steak smoked and marinated overnight in yogurt, Kashmiri chili, green papaya and desi spices wrapped in a blanket of a buttery paratha with house-made garlic aioli, sliced onions, mint and Paratta slaw. Proceeds from any Paratta sale will go to No Us Without You, a nonprofit that provides food security to undocumented hospitality workers. Culver City Deli Brings A Little Taste of Detroit to LA

Element 29 Deli brings the taste of Detroit to LA with something we all love – sandwiches. The Jewish deli is known for its: Full Stack Pastrami – a twist on the classic pastrami sandwich featuring juicy pastrami paired with fresh coleslaw and swiss cheese on marble rye; the Brisket Melt with brisket dry rubbed in African ‘ras el hanout’ spices and then smoked for 18 hours straight; and the Caesar Sandwich combining toasted Pepita and pistachio pesto with expertly dried salami. Another menu favorite, the Corned Beef is made from scratch, and they brine the turkey in Balsamic marinade for  3-5 days before it is smoked in house for 6-7 hours. Manuela’s Nightly Supper for Two is Back 

Date night just got a little sweeter with Manuela’s Supper for two deal. The package includes: an entrée, seasonal salad, vegetable sides, two biscuits, and dessert. The entrée is a rotating daily special: Wednesday – grass fed skirt steak; Thursday – blue prawns & garlic butter; Friday – whole fish; Saturday: smoked pork spareribs; Sunday – buttermilk fried chicken. The dinner for two is available daily after 5:00 pm. L’antica Pizzeria Da Michele is offering a new drive-in dining experience in the private parking lot adjacent to the restaurant. Diners can enjoy their meal in the safety of their car, while enjoying a selection of entertainment including: da Michele’s Spotify playlist, TV shows, films, and iconic Italian football games projected when the sun goes down. Guests can order from the full menu, either upon arrival, or in advance via the website or by calling the restaurant.
