WinePas
Old Town Pasadena introduces WinePas, Old Pasadena’s new Fall Food & Wine Crawl that brings together some of Old Town Pasadena’s best restaurants, wine bars and local businesses for one evening showcasing bites, wines, all while discounts at some of Pasadena’s top local retail shops to directly benefit the Pasadena Educational Foundation. WinePas will have a WinePas Host who will lead each group along the WinePas Fall Food & Wine Crawl to enjoy some retail therapy, Two Gourmet Bites from each restaurant and Two Wine Tastings provided by The Cellar at each stop along the way! The Title Host and Sponsor of this year’s WinePas will be Michael Calderon “Mr. Pasadena,” who will also be present to share his love and continuous support of Pasadena. Restaurants and chefs participating in WinePas include Chef Erwin Tjahyadi and Bone Kettle, Ervin Galvan and We Olive, Chef Elena Vega and Maestro, Chef Tim Shu and Fishwives, Leo Temory and The Cellar, and Mercedes Raffulls, Jasmine Lymon and The Pan. Herzog Wine Dinner at The Milky Way
The Spielberg family’s neighborhood dairy kosher restaurant at Pico-Robertson, The Milky Way is hosting a special wine dinner in collaboration with California-based premium kosher winemaker Herzog Wine Cellars. The evening will feature special Herzog wines that guests aren’t able to usually experience on The Milky Way wine list, paired perfectly with Executive Chef Phil Kastel’s newly-launched summer menu items, including favorites like the Heirloom Tomato & Grilled Peach Panzanella Salad, Cedar Plank Salmon, and Leah’s Classic Summer Cheesecake. $50; Thursday, 6 pm; 9108 W.
