Silva’s Fresh Eatery + Churrascaria Opens
The international bistro serving Churrasco and modern Brazilian favorites announces the grand opening of their new Orange County restaurant located in South Coast Metro. The Silva’s dining experience has a diverse dine-in and take out menu selection from their freshly prepared, serve yourself Chef’s Table and made to order items from the Kitchen. With their kitchen led by Chef John Vega (formerly of Roy’s Newport Beach), Silva’s serves up eclectic Brazilian dishes, appetizers and decadent desserts. Their popular ‘All You Can Eat Feast’ ($22.95) includes a customized meal from their Chef’s Table as well as other ordering options depending on how hungry the guest is. Menu favorites at Silva’s include their top sirloin (Picanha), Skirt Steak, Feijoada (Black Bean Stew), Fresh Broccoli and Cauliflower, Butternut squash, Brazilian fried rice (Biro-Biro) and even their vegetarian plate options. In addition, their Chicken Croquettes (Coxinha de Frango), Prosciutto & Cheese Roll and Kibbeh are some of their delicious Brazilian appetizers. Tsujita Noodle Production Opens
Los Angeles ramen brand, Tsujita, has opened its first-ever takeaway concept, Tsujita Noodle Production. The Grove-adjacent location offers a curated to-go and delivery-only menu of the most iconic ramen dishes from its existing L.A. noodle shops: Tsujita L.A. Artisan Noodle, Tsujita ANNEX, The Tsujita and Killer Noodle. Ramen bowls now available at Tsujita Noodle Production include: The signature Tsukemen, served in a rich broth that’s boiled for 60 hours, with bamboo shoots, pork belly, green onion, sesame seed and egg with a side of Tsujita’s famous noodles for dipping; ANNEX Ramen with bean sprouts, cabbage and pork belly in a pork-based broth; and Dan Dan Noodle Downtown Style, a spicy ramen served with Sichuan peppercorn noodle base, pickles, nuts, ground pork and bean sprouts and a chicken-based broth. Dog Haus Embarces Plant-based Eating
Dog Haus, the gourmet hot dog, sausage and burger concept, will launch custom plant-based sausages and burgers, expanding their offerings to meet every guests’ needs and tastes. With the help of plant-based powerhouses – Impossible Foods and Beyond Meat – four new menu items will be available at all 30+ Dog Haus locations nationwide. Conceptualized by founding partner Hagop Giragossian, along with Würstmacher Adam Gertler and chef Ilan Hall, menu items will include the Impossible Burger with pickles, lettuce, tomato, onion, white American cheese and secret sauce, and Impossible Slider with mayo, white American cheese and caramelized onions, in addition to the Beyond Brat with Beyond Sausage® bratwurst, sauerkraut, caramelized onions and spicy brown mustard, and the Sooo Veggie with Beyond Sausage hot Italian, wild arugula, avocado, tomato, crispy onions and spicy basil aioli – all served on grilled King’s Hawaiian rolls. “Recycle Your Moves” Hip Hop Dance Performance and Water Bottle Swap with JUST Water and Shore Hotel
Timed to America Recycles Day, Shore Hotel in Santa Monica invites you to “Recycle Your Moves”. the event is designed to encourage consumers to switch from using plastic water bottles to eco-friendly, biodegradable options. Hip Hop dancers from the Debbie Allen Dance Academy will engage the public with ocean-facing performances at Santa Monica’s Shore Hotel, and teams will invite passers-by to swap out their plastic water bottles for a free, more sustainable option from JUST Water to commemorate the day.
