Outdoor Movies
Kick off the weekend with some family fun on the Redondo Beach Pier. Each Friday in June, pack up your beach chair or blanket and set up on the International Boardwalk for a movie under the stars. LA Design Festival
With over 50 architecture, fashion, and design events spread throughout the city, the 8th LA Design Festival honors our city’s rich design culture and celebrates our status as a global design capital. The Festival is the only citywide festival of its kind, featuring over 50 events throughout LA as well as a series of talks with design influencers. From architecture and interiors to graphic, industrial, fashion, set, costume, and experiential design, the LA Design Festival showcases the best of the local design scene as well as some exciting national and international voices. This annual event celebrates freedom of expression and collaboration in the performing arts community. DAPPER DAY + LACMA
Step out in style at LACMA as they celebrate the vibrant exhibition David Hockney: 82 Portraits and 1 Still-life. It’s a day and night full of art, fashion, film, music, and dancing. From vintage-inspired classics to chic, contemporary looks, you’re invited to bring your own style to the party. From 10 am to 7 pm, shop the DAPPER DAY® Marketplace at LACMA. For the first time at the museum, you can shop a refined selection of vendors including classic, fun, and vintage fashions and accessories. From 12 to 5 pm, join in docent-led tours of David Hockney: 82 Portraits and 1 Still-life and other LACMA exhibitions. (FREE with museum admission). From 3 to 7 pm, bring a picnic and blanket to gather on the lawn or purchase food and drink at LACMA restaurants or concession stands. From 3 to 5 pm, catch a film screening of MONDO Hollywood. Take a trip back to L.A. circa 1964 and meet the artists, designers, hairdressers, and cross-dressers who defined the era when David Hockney first made California his home. The director will introduce this rare theatrical presentation of the cult classic. (FREE with reservation). From 5 to 7 pm, check out Latin Sounds concert featuring Lily Hernandez & Orquesta. Hernandez was nominated for a Latin Grammy in 2009. Musical direction by Calixto Oviedo, Grammy Award- and Latin Grammy-nominated percussionist and a creator of the dynamic timba rhythm. Playboy Jazz Festival 
Head to theHollywood Bowl for the 40th Annual Playboy Jazz Festival featuring a ton of emerging jazz artists alongside renowned performers. Expect acts from Charles Lloyd & the Marvels with Lucinda Williams featuring Julian Lage, Reuben Rogers, Eric Harland and Greg Leisz; The Ramsey Lewis Quartet; Lee Ritenour and Dave Grusin; and more. Rosé Day LA

32nd Annual Ojai Wine Festival
The Ojai Wine Festival has been named by Sunset Magazine as one of the top five “Food & Wine Havens in the West.” Located at the beautiful Lake Casitas Recreation Area, this festival has become a favorite affair for attending wineries with their numbers doubling to event capacity every year. Wine connoisseurs can delight in 60 award-winning wineries with more than 250 selections of wine. Lawry’s  80th Anniversary
In celebration of its 80th anniversary this year, iconic prime rib destination Lawry’s is offering you the option to enjoy an $80 dinner for two throughout the month of June. The offering features some of Lawry’s most iconic dishes, including the original spinning bowl salad, a California cut of prime rib with mashed potatoes and Yorkshire pudding or salmon with seasonal vegetables, and a trifle accompanied by a champagne toast.
