New Year’s Race
Welcome 2018 with fitness by running, sprinting or power walking the New Year’s Race. Afterward (or before), celebrate at the a pre and post race Festival within the Celebration Zone on race day. The festival will include vendor and sponsor booths, music, live art, food trucks and a beer & wine garden! Each registered New Year’s Race participant, 21 years and older, can redeem their two (2) free beer tickets inside the beer garden on race day. The beer tickets will be attached to your bib. Additionally, participants can look forward to a delicious sample of Barefoot Bubbly sparkling wine with the opportunity to purchase additional glasses for $5 each. Museum of Illusions

10th Annual No Pants Metro Ride
Bring $7 for a Metro Day Pass on your TAP card ($8 if you need to purchase a TAP card and the Day Pass), pants you can easily remove, something in which to keep them. Start at whichever station is most convenient to you (or have an adventure and choose a station to which you have never been). At 1 pm, there will be ride captains at each rendezvous point to lead the mission. They are there to meet & brief the agents, to answer any questions, to have everyone de-pantsed before getting on the trains, and to ensure you leave on schedule. The ride captains will help any inexperienced transit riders. Sunday, 1-3:30 pm

Old Pasadena Historic Walking Tour
Grab your walking shoes and dive into the history of downtown Pasadena’s revitalization. Trained docents will lead you through the historic neighborhood while revealing hidden and unusual architectural details, old alleyways and historic signs.  $15-$18; Saturday, 9-11 am; Pasadena Heritage, 651 S. Kombucha Home-Brewing and Flavoring Class
Learn how to make a fresh batch of kombucha from scratch.
