Los Angeles’ Taste of the Nation for No Kid Hungry
Enjoy some of the most celebrated food in Los Angeles because Los Angeles’ Taste of the Nation for No Kid Hungry returns to Culver City. The annual tasting event will feature the city’s top chefs, sommeliers and mixologists. One hundred percent of proceeds from the event benefit No Kid Hungry’s work to end childhood hunger in America. Led by Chef-Chair Bruce Kalman (Union, Knead), Los Angeles’ culinary tastemakers will provide bite-size fare, craft cocktails and desserts. Dry River Brewing opens Tasting Room in Boyle Heights
Dry River Brewing is excited to announce the Grand Opening of its tasting room in Boyle Heights. Dry River Brewing will offer a curated, intimate experience to showcase the space and its beers. 2017 Summer of Music
Through August 31, the Redondo Pier Association presents the 2017 Summer of Music, a concert series on the pier. It’s time to Dance and Sing at Tam O’Shanter

Old Pasadena Summer Cinema
This month-long, free movie series featuring outdoor (and some indoor) film screenings offers movies screened in unique locations throughout the historic Old Pasadena district. With nearly 20 screenings, it is the largest free open-air film festival in California. Dirty Dancing at Hollywood Forever Cemetery
This dance classic comes to the cemetery, followed by a fireworks on the holiday weekend. Jennifer Grey catches a glimpse of bad boy dancer Johnny Castle (Patrick Swayze) practicing his moves in a Catskills resort. Summer Wellness Series at the Avalon Hotel Beverly Hills

Chef Jesse Barber has two pop-up dinners, all part of his Imperfetta dinner series. During his dinner series, he’ll present an Italian tasting menu inspired by local farmers markets. Fireworks in Marina del Rey
Bring your chairs, blankets and picnics to enjoy the Fourth of July fireworks show in Marina Del Rey. The fireworks will be shot up from a barge across the Marina’s main channel. Best viewing spots include Fisherman’s Village (13755 Fiji Way), Burton Chace Park (13650 Mindanao Way), and Marina (Mother’s) Beach at 4101 Admiralty Way. The show will be synchronized to music at Burton Chace Park and Fisherman’s Village. Early arrival is strongly suggested – ample paid parking is available. Cars & Stripes Forever!
Kick off the Independence Day weekend at the LA Waterfront, featuring a classic car show, an exotic car display, live music, food trucks and fireworks. Taking place at Gateway Plaza and Fanfare Fountains, Cars & Stripes features more than 100 classic cars built before 1971 lined up along the Harbor Blvd. Parkway Promenade and World Cruise Center, with views of the Vincent Thomas Bridge, Battleship IOWA and container ships and cranes. AmericaFest
The Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena hosts the 91st-annual Fourth of July celebration, AmericaFest. The festivities start in Area H outside the Rose Bowl, where the kids can enjoy food, entertainment and games. July 4th Fireworks Extravaganza at Warner Park
The 17th-annual July 4th Fireworks Extravaganza entertains more than 60,000 people with a free concert by the San Fernando Valley Symphony Orchestra. There are more than 20 local restaurants on hand, as well as arts and crafts vendors.
