Angel City Brewery‘s 4th Annual Heritage Fest
Four years ago, Angel City Brewery opened its doors in the rundown but historic John A. Roebling building in DTLA’s Arts District. That year, they optimistically celebrated the future by hosting the first annual Heritage Festival. In those days, “heritage” was a hopeful term, but today, with four years down, dozens of classic, fun and funky beers in the repertoire, and countless loyal fans in its corner, it seems that Angel City Brewery has even more reason to celebrate. The fourth annual Heritage Festival will kick off with a giant toast in the Public House. The rest of the day will feature a range of entertainment, festivities and art to celebrate the brewery’s Arts District home and commitment to the craft beer community. Live bands, food trucks, performances, art, and plenty of beer will all be on hand for the party. All proceeds from the outdoor beer garden will go to benefit the Art’s District’s community creative art center, Art Share LA. Expect live music from Calvin Winbush, Photo Ops, Brown Shoe, The Vignes Rooftop Revival, The Bloodhounds, Mariachi Los Toros, and Dirty Lingo. Live performances will be from Aztec Mexica Dancers, Taiko Drum Center, Red Tipi and Heart Hip Hop and Philippe The Original, Peaches Smokehouse and Southern Kitchen, LA Cake and Downtown Tacos will all be providing eats. Sunday, noon; 216 S Alameda St, Los Angeles, CA 90012
