iHeartSilverlake EastSide Food Festival
This inaugural event focuses on sustainability, supporting the locally owned and operated businesses within the community that make LA thrive. Meet the purveyors and experience cuisine from over 25 hand-selected vendors including Black Cat, Better Boosh (Kombucha), Donut Friend, El Condor, Elf, Gualaguetza, L& E Oyster Bar, Little Beast, Pine & Crane, Oinkster, and more! Additionally, there will be celebrity chefs, caterers, local brands, and surprises – all native to the EastSide communities of LA. Kosmic Krylon Carnival
The Pasadena Museum of California Art hosts a carnival-themed benefit event honoring artist Kenny Scharf and PMCA Founding Board Member Merry Norris on the 10th anniversary of their Kenny Scharf Garage, which features Scharf’s spray-paint murals. Enojy music with DJ Alphabet, art-making activities, magic shows, carnival-themed hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, raffle prizes, and more. The Palm Reopens

Grandes Maestros & Latin Fastival
Experience performances by INCA, music and dances from Peru and the Andean region, presented by The Music Center; The L.A. Opera performing songs from Florencia en el Amazonas; Viver Brasil, a Brazilian dance company with full music ensemble and vivid costuming that embodies stories of Afro-Brazilian culture; and Malibu Mariachi, traditional Mexican mariachi music in the Grand Foyer. Champagne and Croquet
Barnsdall Art Park’s fundraiser is an afternoon of fun and games on the west lawn of Frank Lloyd Wright’s famed Hollyhock House, which reopens to the public soon. Enjoy a 3-flight sparkling wine tasting by famed Silverlake Wine and croquet games, with the Pasadena Croquet Association on hand to give instructions. Rock & Reilly‘s 3rd Anniversary/Reillyfest Block Party
Rock & Reilly’s will be throwing another great block party, this time Reillyfest—which will benefit WhoCares Teen Cancer America, in honor of the bar’s 3rd anniversary. The block party will feature entertainment from live rock bands, Bratwurst food trucks, photo booths, face painting and they’ll be pouring festive Oktoberfest beers including: Ballast Point Dead Ringer, Sam Adams Oktoberfest, Woodchuck Pumpkin, New Belgium Tour de Fall, Firestone Oaktoberfest, Leinenkugel’s Oktoberfest and more! $20; Saturday, 12-9 pm. Additionally, the bar will also unveil The Barrel Room an extension of Reilly’s downstairs. The new room will add 25 extra seats and feature a 7-seat bar with jumbo TVs. Reilly’s will also introduce make-your-own-style Whiskey Kits ($49) which include a personal bottle of Mother’s Milk Whiskey, Angostura bitters, beef jerky, blackberries, honey roasted peanuts, dark chocolate sea salt caramels, orange peels, ice and even a cigar.

Craft Beer Festival
Some of the world’s greatest and smallest artisanal beer, cider, and mead makers will meet with you and share their stories and knowledge. And many will be creating special brews specifically for the event — you won’t be able to find them anywhere else! Admission to the festival gets you the special-edition sample glass, the opportunity to meet more than 70 of the best beer, cider, and mead makers in the world, and additionally, a portion of admission ticket sales will go directly to our nonprofit partner, Sharefest. Blade Runner at Hollywood Forever
Ridley Scott’s version of the Philip K Dick novel changed science fiction forever. Its dark and glittering world hides questions of what it means to be human, and the performances in this film are deep, emotional, and moving. Thénardiers Inn – A Les Misérables Cabaret
Welcome to Thenardier’s Inn, a re-telling of the miserable tale put on by the man himself. Submerge yourself in the dancing, drinks, and girls of the Inn, while singing along with the classic characters and songs, in this 360 degree immersive theatrical cabaret.
