Hakkasan Reopens

Hakkasan Group will commemorate the one-year anniversary of Hakkasan Beverly Hills, known for its upscale, modern Cantonese cuisine, by introducing a reimagined entrance, refreshed interior and a new open-concept bar environment. The London-based global hospitality group first brought Hakkasan’s to Angelenos in 2013, and will reopen its doors today, after a brief two-week closing for renovations.

The interior, originally designed by Parisian design firm Gilles & Boissier, has been reimagined to more closely reflect the feel of Hakkasan’s flagship restaurant located in Hanway Place, London. The enhanced space features a dramatic entrance constructed with bronze niches filled with delicate red resin candles, which shows the opulent ambiance of the restaurant. The blue backlit glass monolith bar has been expanded, creating an inviting space for larger crowds, while still maintaining the intimate feel guests have come to expect of the restaurant.

The restaurant will also unveil a curated limited-edition menu that will pay tribute to Golden Week, China’s most regarded national annual holiday, from Monday, September 29Sunday, October 12. The menu ($138) includes Peking duck with caviar; Dim sum platter; Spicy Szechuan rib-eye beef with enoki mushroom; Roasted crispy chicken with wild mushroom in oyster sauce; fried rice with diced abalone, and to finish, deep-fried black sesame and chocolate dumplings with ginger and yuzu tea. To complete the dining experience in style, you will receive a special take-away gift box containing hand-made golden macarons.

Hakkasan Beverly Hills continues to offer its renowned gourmet Cantonese menu, which features a mixture of Hakkasan classics alongside dishes which have been created specifically for the Beverly Hills location and clientele. Complementing Chef Ho’s exceptional culinary expertise, Hakkasan Beverly Hills offers an inventive beverage menu featuring an array of Asian inspired cocktails, wines and sakes.
