Tanzy, (10840 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90024) is an Italian restaurant that is making it’s Los Angeles debut on Monday. Scottsdale and Boca Raton both have one of these eateries and now, you can find our very own inside iPic Theaters in Westwood.
Bryan Podgorski (French Laundry; chef de cuisine at Bouchon in Las Vegas) is in the kitchen cooking up simple, Italian focused dishes. In addition to artisanal salami, assorted cheeses, and a raw bar, you will find salads with pork belly & Bloomsdale Spinach with white wine poached Warren pears, braised radish and warm asparagus & prosciutto with a soft poached hen egg and Parmigiano emulsion.
In the pasta section, you’ll find whole wheat spaghetti primavera with garden vegetables, salsa crudo, shaved Parmesan; Orecchiette with spiced turkey sausage, wilted Swiss chard; and Bucatini All’ Amatriciana, passata di pomodoro, guanciale. Entrees include Herb roasted Jidori ; Pan seared Scottish Salmon with P.E.I. mussels, Manila clams, Gulf shrimp, melted leeks, tomato broth; Braised Angus Beef Short ribs; and Wild White Seabass Panzanella.
End your meal with desserts including Panna Cotta with Harry’s Berries strawberries, amaretti crumble; Torta Di Cioccolato with salted caramel, banana gelato; and Tiramisu. Come by for brunch. They have items like Grilled Spanish Octopus, Crispy Chicken and Sourdough Waffles, and Corned Beef Hash.
Drinks and wine come from Master Sommelier Adam Seger and the lounge aesthetic was designed by Karen Hanlon. You will see wood vines everywhere along with metal surfaces, and orange/earthy colors. Open for Brunch, Saturday & Sunday, 10 am-3 pm; Lunch, Monday-Friday, 11 am – 3 pm; Dinner, Sunday-Thursday: 4-10 pm, Friday & Saturday, 4-11 pm; and have a limited bar menu daily, 3 – 4 pm.
