Chef Eric Greenspan’s The Roof on Wilshire has some great plans for New Years with an unbelievable view, amazing food and a fun atmosphere! For NYE: From 6pm to 9pm diners can enjoy a five course tasting menu for $75 each. Executive Chef Jeremy Fox, alongside owners Josh Loeb and Zoe Nathan, invite you to ring in the New Year at their Santa Monica neighborhood restaurant. Yamashiro
Here, they aren’t just celebrating NYE, but they are turning 100! Executive chef Brock Kleweno is creating a 4-course New Year’s Eve Prix-Fixe menu. Resys are available in 15-minute increments: 5-8 pm ($80) & 8:30-10:30pm ($100). Price for the second seating includes a glass of champagne to toast at midnight. In celebration of Yamashiro’s signature Mai Tai, a special 100-Year Mai Tai ($12) – house-infused dark rum, passion fruit puree, orange juice, pineapple juice – will be available during the evening and throughout 2014. All night festivities will include DJ Silence and L.A. Alcove | Big Bar’s Third Annual NYE cocktail Countdown
Here, they start at 3 pm (NYE in the Eurozone) and they head west across the timezones till our own midnight. They have a cocktail to represent each timezone, inspired by the timezone, music from the region, countdown etc. This year, with the help of Mr. Dave Stolte (HomeBarBasics), they have designed a Cocktail Passport which will follow our countdown, have Dave’s artwork for each cocktail, and a place to stamp your timezone once you have ordered that cocktail. Hornblower Cruises
Celebrate 2014 on board some of the most beautiful yachts on the West Coast. The Annual All-New, One-Time-Only New Year’s Eve Revue!
The Santa Monica Playhouse’s annual New Year’s Eve shows celebrates 2014 with an all-new show full of songs, dances, comedy and more. Included with admission is a complimentary buffet supper, champagne, party favors, hats and the chance to win special prizes. The late show at 9:30 pm ($49.50) gives you the chance to ring in 2014 with members of the Santa Monica Playhouse Actors’ Repertory Theatre. New Year’s Eve Starlight Ballroom Bash at Mr. C Beverly Hills
Taking place in the hotel’s 12th-floor Starlight Ballroom and featuring 360-degree views of Los Angeles, this party will have a full bar, live music by The Vibrometers, dancing and a midnight champagne toast. Options include a signature Cipriani five-course meal ($195)  prior to the bash, bash-only ($100), and a table reserved for up to six guests ($1,200). 8 pm-2 am.

NYE at The Abbey

This event goes down at multiple venues and the kicks off is on Saturday, December 28 at Circus Disco in Hollywood. WE Party Airlines is at Avalon on Monday, December 30, with DJ Brett Henrichsen. On Tuesday, December 31, the party moves from Hollywood to Mayan Nightclub, featuring DJ Alyson Calagna from 9 pm-6 am. Angelic or devilish costumes are encouraged for this event, which features a live performance by Eva Simons (singer with Afrojack, Will.i.am and Zedd), DJ Adam Auburn, and more.
