With an upscale, sexy aesthetic and a dedication to the best hospitality, Warwick (6507 W. Sunset Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90028; 323.460.6667; resys: email@example.com) and Jeffrey Best have topped Los Angeles’ charts in world-class nightlife. Their cocktail program by Beverage Directors Jason Bran and Damian Windsor goes above and beyond.
Quality is key at Warwick, which is why the spirits are top shelf, the produce is brought in daily, and the cocktails take time, patience and dedication to create. The menu is classic with a cutting edge twist.
The menu includes the Warwick Cup, combining vodka, Pimm’s No. 1, fresh strawberry, fresh squeezed pineapple juice, lemon juice, and topped with soda; the Spanish Bull with tequila, Mezcal, Cointreau with fresh squeezed orange and carrot juice; and the Peach Cobbler with cognac, fresh squeezed lemon juice, peach puree and maple syrup.
Two cocktails that really show the team’s market-fresh inspiration include the Kaffir Melon Cooler and the Blackberry Buck. The Kaffir Melon Cooler has gin, watermelon, lime, salt, and pomegranate. The Blackberry Buck combines bourbon, blackberries, ginger root, vanilla, house-made blackberry ginger beer, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Closing this menu is the Coco Pina Fresca, which has rum, fresh pineapple juice and lime topped with coconut foam, and the Orange Royale has a mix of Cointreau, fresh squeezed blood orange juice and Prosecco. Even though these cocktails are literally works of art, there’s room for interchangeability when necessary. For example, if you’re not a mezcal drinker and would prefer vodka, just ask! The bar team is prepared to make amendments and bend some rules. Full menu here.
