The Phoenix, (14 N La Cienega Blvd., Beverly Hills, 90211) is an upscale bar in the old La Seine spot, opening September 26th. Be prepared for great drinks and an amazing beer list that changes weekly. Booze is the main focus here, but chef Larry Greenwood, will serve steak frites and salad.
This drinking domain is my kind of style. I love when a place brings the outdoors in. Decorated with a cluster of trees, weathered wood paneling and a courtyard space with whitewashed woods, this place does just that. Get ready to gather around the adobe fireplaces and play games like shuffleboard, darts and pool. Also expect a stage for live music or impromptu karaoke.
