Matthew Marks Gallery

Matthew Marks Gallery (1062 North Orange Grove Ave., West Hollywood; 323.654.1830) has opened in West Hollywood. Originally a NYC art dealer, Marks represents Jasper Johns, Brice Marden and Terry Winters to name a few. The gallery is a piece of art in itself, which was designed by artist Ellsworth Kelly. He designed the building as an architectural nod to his 1966 painting “Black Over White”.

The opening exhibit showcases Kelly’s latest works, which includes five “Relief” paintings. Then, expect shows by Charles Ray (in April) and Nan Goldin (in July).
