Cochon555

This Sunday at Cochon555, you can witness a culinary battle that includes fine dining and cocktails. It’s a classy battle. Five chefs from popular Los Angeles restaurants like Comme Ca, Craft, and Fig Restaurant are going head to head to create six nose-to-tail dishes each from a whole heritage breed pig. After all of the butchering, roasting, and tasting is done, the last chef standing will get the chance to compete in the Grand Cochon at this year’s Food & Wine Classic in Aspen.

Along with all the porky plates, you’ll get 30-month-old Prosciutto di Parma, Hudson Valley foie gras, and cocktails from the whiskey bar. If you’re there for the whiskey, head over to the “Punch King” battle where five local barkeeps will create just what you’re looking for.

$131-208; Sunday, February 23, 4-8 pm; Fairmont Miramar Santa Monica, 101 Wilshire Blvd., Santa Monica; 687.744.5886
