Xlixe

Xlixe (432 E 2nd St., Los Angeles, 90012; 213.620.0513) pronounced “slice” has opened in Little Tokyo and has a grand opening event this Thursday, August 4. This small, dark wood spot that holds about 50 people is serving up cheap eats and craft beer. Serving up pizzas like The New Yorker (“grandma sauce,” fresh mozzarella, parmesan and fresh herbs), The Matador (oxtail), The Slated Philly (Philly Cheese Steak) and The Little Tokyo (persimmon and rabbit),  keeps the creativity fresh. Pizzas come in 12″ and 18″ and run between $11 and $26. There are also panini, salads, calzones, and meatballs. The puns and spelling errors are for you to enjoy during lunch and dinner, which is served daily.
