Escuela Taqueria
This place is the opposite of Fundamental LA, in that they are not minimal at all…chairs on the ceiling? Yep, but besides that, the menu features tacos composed of pork chuletta (pork chops with avocado and sea salt), pork belly (with pickled onions), shrimp (with chorizo and red mojo), skin-on Branzino (with cabbage slaw), and chicken (with achiote lime marinade). Each order includes two tacos and all plates are priced between $6-8. Side orders between $3-6. Open for dinner now and lunch this Saturday and Sunday. 7615 Beverly Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90036; 323.932.6178
