13th Annual Museums Free-for-All
Dozens of museums will open their doors for you to attend their museums free of charge. The event also hopes to raise awareness of free visitor days available year-round at museums across Southern California. Museums Free-for-All is partnering with Metro, encouraging visitors to Go Metro to explore participating museums, many of which are a short walk from Metro bus or rail stops. This offer is for general museum admission only and does not apply to specially ticketed exhibitions. Regular parking fees apply at each museum. Lunar New Year Celebration
One of the country’s top shopping destinations known for its style and energy, The Grove is hosting a Lunar New Year Celebration. The celebration includes performances by the Kim Eung Hwa Korean Dance Academy and Koreos, UCLA’s first K-pop Dance Team. Arts and crafts include sugar painting, a traditional Chinese folk art using hot, liquid sugar to create two dimensional figures. Also on display will be Chinese dough figures, which have a 4,000-year history and are typically used as zodiac animals or fictional figures during the Chinese holidays.
