unity la & Hyatt Regency LAX Offer Dishes Inspired by Los Angeles

Walking into Hyatt Regency Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), I found myself saying, “Wow.” The chic, redesigned hotel welcomes visitors with a bright, open concept lobby that brings the idea of community to the forefront. With numerous seating options and the market and bar, the lobby is a place people want to hang out and socialize.

Hyatt Regency LAX, the closet hotel to the airport terminals, offers a new, upscale full service experience. From the emphasis on local art to the modern décor to thoughtful amenities, Hyatt Regency LAX provides the
perfect accommodations for any traveler passing through Los Angeles. With 580 newly designed guest rooms and suites that feature the Hyatt Grand Bed®, and quadruple-pane, soundproof windows, you can be sure, you will have a peaceful night’s sleep.

The Hyatt Regency Club is the icing on the cake. It offers private access to enjoy a continental breakfast, evening hors d’oeuvres, desserts and beverages, while watching tv or curling up on one of the couches with a book. Relax in an exclusive setting far away from the bustle of traveling all day. There’s also the pool  & lounge area that has fire pits, cabanas and heat lamps, so that they can be enjoyed all day and evening long.

With dishes inspired by Los Angeles’ diverse food culture, unity la will have locals popping in for an amazing meal (or for a much needed staycation). unity la serves up a menu of plates with unique flavors from neighborhoods across Los Angeles. You will find Drunken Noodles (my fave) from Thai Town, Ribeye from Boyle Heights, Sea Bass from Santa Monica and Seared Scallops from the Sunset Strip.

unity la offers breakfast and dinner, with menu items that are designed to be shared. We started off with the Caesar salad and California Salad. Both salads were large hearty filled with fresh California produce. I loved how the Caesar salad had a California twist with the addition of pumpkin seeds and avocados. From there I ordered the Drunken Noodles that was a savory dish made with crispy tofu, broccoli, and Thai basil. The delicious sauce had a little kick that I loved. Tyler ordered the Sea Bass that came on a bed of beets, pesto, and lentils. It was crispy and balanced perfectly with the pesto. unity la also has a unique cocktail list (Try the Strawberry Fizz) and a wine list filled with the perfect glass to pair with your meal. The informative staff can steer you in the right direction to make sure you have the best meal experience.

Whether you are traveling to Los Angeles for work or play, have a layover, or are just in need of a mini vacation in the city you live in, Hyatt Regency LAX and unity la offer everything you need. From the amazing menu to the gorgeous hotel, you will leave feeling rejuvenated, relaxed, and happily full.
