Church & State’s 9 Year Anniversary Dinner Menu
Restaurateur Yassmin Sarmadi and Executive Chef Tony Esnault are celebrating Church & State’s 9 Year Anniversary by offering a very special classic dinner menu with 2008 pricing which features benchmark dishes that have helped solidify Church & State as the cornerstone of French Bistro dining in DTLA. Local Chefs Dinner Series at Kali
In an effort to elevate the local food scene and camaraderie, Kali will be hosting a five course tasting menu with every course curated by each chef. In honor of its first year as part of the DTLA community, Brack Shop Tavern is offering food and drink specials all night including $2 mole tacos and $5 shots of Don Julio tequila, in addition to their normal 3-7 pm happy hour. Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA hosts a daylong party for the public at Grand Park in DTLA, celebrating the launch of Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA and featuring music, food, drink, activities, giveaways, and a chance to plan an itinerary for Southern California’s largest arts experience. The celebration kicks off with music and dance performances by Ori, presenting an exploration of ancestral and modern folk music from Latin America, with an emphasis on Afro-Cuban and Brazilian dances. Throughout the afternoon, the party continues with a pop-up interactive installation, the PST: LA/LA Mobile, delicious fare from local food trucks, and a themed bar. Explore the book nook with exhibition catalogues highlighting Latin American and Latino art, participate in hands-on workshops, engage with PST: LA/LA ambassadors, and relax with friends.
