Rustic Canyon Celebrates its 10th Anniversary
Rustic Canyon Wine Bar & Seasonal Kitchen, helmed by Chef Jeremy Fox, is turning ten years old on December 8th. To ring in the anniversary, the Rustic Canyon Family is bringing together chef friends from around the country, as well as from the restaurant’s past, to collaborate on a series of multi-course dinners on October 3, November 7, and December 8. Rustic Canyon was born out of a series of dinners hosted by Josh in his family’s beautiful tree house of a home, nestled in Santa Monica’s Rustic Canyon neighborhood.  Every month, lovers of quality food and wine gathered around a long, candlelit table to share the joy of a meal created with thought and passion. New friends were made, stories were told, and favorite wines were discovered. Over the years, Josh and his wife, Zoe Nathan, grew their tight-knit family of restaurants to include Huckleberry Bakery & Café, Milo & Olive, Sweet Rose CreameryCassia, and Esters Wine Shop & Bar. This week, cactchWalter Manzke (République),Jessica Koslow (Sqirl), Ori Menashe (Bestia), and Josef Centeno (Bäco Mercat, Bar Amá, Orsa & Winston, Ledlow, and the forthcoming Bäcoshop) join him and Rustic Canyon Pastry Chef Jun Tan for this six-course dinner. There is a vegetarian option available for the December 8 dinner, and all other modifications and substitutions are politely declined. Additionally, Wine Director Kathryn Coker and Sommelier Ferdinando Mucinero have created optional Classic Wine Pairings and Rare and Vintage Wine Pairings, which can be purchased in advance or during each dinner. $125, $55/classic wine pairing, $95/rare and vintage wine pairing; Monday (also December 8th); 1119 Wilshire Blvd, Santa Monica, CA 90401; No reservations will be taken over the phone.
