Lucques All American Rib Fest

Chinatown Summer Nights
Produced by KCRW and the Los Angeles Chinatown Business Council, Chinatown Summer Nights is a multicultural celebration happening three times over the course of the summer. Nike Basketball 3ON3 Tournament
This tournament features three days of basketball, entertainment, food, giveaways and more. All skill levels can compete in the Adult Elite Division to Youth, Wheelchair and Special Olympics divisions. The inaugural Nike Basketball 3ON3 Tournament took place in August 2009 and featured over 500 teams and more than 13,000 players and spectators. Since then, the tournament has grown to become one of the largest 3ON3 street basketball tournaments and fan fests in Los Angeles. Friday Flights
See the Getty Center transformed by musicians and artists for an evening that fuses music, art, discussion and dance. Friday Flights includes a collaboration between the Getty and a featured musician or cultural tastemaker who creates a specially curated evening inspired by an exhibition on view at the Museum. The series takes its inspiration from the format of a tasting flight, where several flavors, perhaps of wine or beer, or in this case art, can be sampled and compared. Mikael Jorgensen is the tastemaker for this Friday. Mikael Jorgensen began working with alternative rock band Wilco as a tech-savvy and synth-wielding sound engineer. He became a permanent member in the group in 2002 and he still gets involved with independent projects and has featured visual and conceptual additions by his wife, artist and photographer Cassandra C.
