Here, they aren’t just celebrating NYE, but they are turning 100! Executive chef Brock Kleweno is creating a 4-course New Year’s Eve Prix-Fixe menu. Resys are available in 15-minute increments: 5-8 pm ($80) & 8:30-10:30pm ($100). Alcove | Big Bar’s Third Annual NYE cocktail Countdown
Here, they start at 3 pm (NYE in the Eurozone) and they head west across the timezones till our own midnight. They have a cocktail to represent each timezone, inspired by the timezone, music from the region, countdown etc. This year, with the help of Mr. Dave Stolte (HomeBarBasics), they have designed a Cocktail Passport which will follow our countdown, have Dave’s artwork for each cocktail, and a place to stamp your timezone once you have ordered that cocktail. The Annual All-New, One-Time-Only New Year’s Eve Revue!
The Santa Monica Playhouse’s annual New Year’s Eve shows celebrates 2014 with an all-new show full of songs, dances, comedy and more. Taking place in the hotel’s 12th-floor Starlight Ballroom and featuring 360-degree views of Los Angeles, this party will have a full bar, live music by The Vibrometers, dancing and a midnight champagne toast.
