Ramen by Omae (14425 Ventura Blvd, Sherman Oaks, CA 91423) comes from Takeshi Omae and it’s his first restaurant in the U.S. Omae worked at Morimoto’s XEX in Roppongi and became executive chef, and earned two Michelin stars. At Ramen by Omae, the motto is “500% more BBQ pork, 30% more ramen soup” and you can see it in their house dish of tonkotsu (pork bone broth) ramen. Also, definitely be sure to try his cheese ramen.
