The popular Echo Park spot, Sage Organic Vegan Bistro (4114 Sepulveda Blvd., Culver City, 90230), is now soft open in Culver City. Meat-free people can get down with a huge lunch menu. They have bowls, salads, sandwiches, soups, tacos, burgers, wraps, and about a zillions sides to chose from. Dinner, is a smaller menu with entrees including spinach basil ravioli pomodoro; potato broccoli pierogis; gluten-free coconut curry; eggplant arriabiatta; spicy pineapple fried rice; and a pasta, pesto and greens bowl. Save room for dessert because they have vegan ice cream treats from KindKreme, plus shakes, banana splits, and smoothies, in addition to fresh juices, and coffee drinks.
Brunch leans towards a Mexican selection including chilaquiles; burrito with mole; potato hard shell tacos; and staples like gluten-free waffles and chia French toast. There’s also gluten-free biscuits and gravy and sweet potato pancakes.
Open Monday-Thursday, 11 am-12 am; Friday & Saturday, 11 am-1 am; and Saturday & Sunday brunch starts at 9 am.
