Burbank Turkey Trot 5K/10K Run
More than two thousand people lace up their shoes and get their run on during the annual Turkey Trot 5K/10K Run. It’s in their fourth year and it benefits the Burbank Community YMCA’s financial assistance program. Top finishers get cash prizes and, of course, there’s a costume contest. Everyone knows it’s the holiday season when Starbucks rolls out the Pumpkin Spice Lattes, Gingerbread Lattes, Peppermint Mochas, and Eggnog Lattes. Now, you can head to Larchmont and skip the Starbucks because this new coffee spot is recreating the famous drinks on Thanksgiving morning from opening to noon. Here’s the real highlight though, instead of using syrups, each drink will be made with real ingredients and top notch coffees like Heart Roasters, 49th Parallel, and George.
