Live Love Spa Celebrates National Wellness Month with Next-Level Health and Beauty Products

This was my third year attending Live Love Spa’s National Wellness Month event in DTLA, and it has officially become one of my favorite events of the year. There’s something so special about spending a full day immersed in health and wellness, discovering new brands, and reconnecting with products from companies I’ve come to love over the years — and this year’s event took that experience to a whole new level.

For those unfamiliar, National Wellness Month takes place every August and encourages people across the country to prioritize self-care, build healthier routines, and focus on their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Live Love Spa has become one of the biggest names celebrating National Wellness Month each year, and this year’s event proved exactly why.

The Biggest Year Yet

This year’s two-day National Wellness Month Trends Event, held at the Hudson Loft in Downtown Los Angeles, was made possible by an incredible lineup of sponsors, led by Diamond Sponsor SpaFinder, along with Platinum Sponsors Phytomer, Eminence, Ammortal, and Candela/Glace — and together, they helped deliver the event’s biggest year yet. As one of the event directors shared, “After three years in DTLA, this was the NWM Trends Event’s biggest year yet — attendance more than doubled, from about 300 to 625, and the event expanded beyond its usual two floors at Hudson Loft to fill all four, with over 115 influencers and media attending.” That growth was obvious the moment I walked in — every floor was buzzing with energy, and it was clear this event has become a true staple in the health and wellness community.

Day One: A Full Day of Wellness Immersion

The two-day event featured a packed itinerary of different wellness activations, and I made sure to soak up as much of Day One as I possibly could. My day started with the Rosée Glow Ritual and a Sound Bath Meditation, followed by Steeping Purpose with Magic Hour Tea for a calming, mindful moment between activations. While Day Two brought its own lineup, including a Pilates class, I spent my time fully immersed in everything Day One had to offer.

Cutting-Edge Wellness Technology

One of the biggest highlights of the day was getting hands-on with the latest wellness tech, including massage chair and bed demos, automatic body dryers, and red light therapy masks and beds. I couldn’t resist a 20-minute session in the Human Touch Massage Chair, complete with a calf massager, Cloud Touch Acupressure, and full-body relaxation targeting my back, neck, and shoulders — I may or may not have dozed off for a bit, and I’m not even sorry about it. If you’ve been curious about the buzz around red light therapy benefits, this event made it easy to understand why so many people are adding it to their routines — from improved skin tone and texture to potential support for muscle recovery and inflammation. It’s no wonder red light therapy at home has become such a popular addition to modern wellness routines, and getting to experience it firsthand at the event only reinforced why this technology is having such a major moment.

Wellness Panels & Longevity Conversations

Beyond the treatments and tech, the event also featured wellness panels that dove into some of the biggest conversations in the industry right now, including what does longevity mean in today’s health and wellness landscape. It was fascinating to hear experts break down longevity beyond just lifespan, touching on quality of life, prevention, and sustainable daily habits that support long-term health.

New Product Discoveries

Beyond the tech and treatments, part of what makes this event so special every year is discovering new brands, and this year did not disappoint. I was especially excited to learn about Hårklinikken, a personalized hair care line designed to support long-term strength, density, and quality. Founded in 1992, Hårklinikken has become a leader in hair and scalp health, offering proven, custom solutions for thinning hair. As someone dealing with alopecia, discovering this brand felt especially meaningful, and I’m genuinely excited to try their personalized approach.

I also got to explore Olaplex, the wildly popular hair care brand known for its patented bond-building technology. Using a single active ingredient, bis-aminopropyl diglycol dimaleate, Olaplex works to reconnect broken disulfide bonds in the hair caused by chemical bleaching, coloring, heat styling, and everyday damage. Between Hårklinikken and Olaplex, my hair care routine is about to get a serious upgrade.

Another product I can’t wait to try is the neuLASH eyelash serum from Lifetech Resources — a brand I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on. I also have to give a quick shoutout to Out East Eyewear’s chic sunglasses, which caught my eye instantly, and Marimix’s delicious healthy snacks, which I completely tore through at the event (no shame).

A Letter to My Future Self

One of my favorite parts of the entire day was a quiet, unexpected moment courtesy of SpaFinder. They set up a letter-writing activation where guests could step away from the noise and write a letter to their future selves, which will be mailed back to us in the coming weeks. Writing a letter to your future self is such a powerful practice — it helps you track personal growth, capture how you’re feeling in this exact moment, and get clear on your long-term goals. It essentially becomes a little time capsule, showing you just how much your perspective and priorities can shift over time. Amid all the treatments and product discoveries, this quiet moment of reflection ended up being one of the most meaningful parts of my day.

Sips & Bites

Of course, no wellness event is complete without great food and drinks. Guests were treated to all kinds of matcha, coffee, and tea throughout the day, along with a bountiful and hearty lunch from Sweetgreen.

The celebration didn’t stop there. The event also included a special Happy Hour honoring 40 years of SpaFinder, complete with cocktails, wine, healthy bites, and a seriously impressive Bruno Mars cover band that had the entire room dancing.

Health is Wealth

Live Love Spa’s National Wellness Month event continues to prove why it’s become such a beloved staple in the health and wellness space here in LA, and why National Wellness Month itself has grown into such a widely recognized celebration of self-care across the country. From the growth in attendance to the expanded programming across all four floors of Hudson Loft, it’s clear this event isn’t slowing down anytime soon. I left feeling recharged, inspired, and full of new products and tools to bring into my own routine — and I’m already looking forward to next year.
