Jane Fonda Hosts Homeboy Industries 26th Annual Lo Maximo Awards Gala

Homeboy Industries hosted its 26th annual Lo Máximo Awards & Fundraising Gala at the JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A. LIVE, bringing together an influential community of supporters, changemakers, and talent for a powerful evening dedicated to transformation, kinship, and hope.

Hosted by Academy Award winner Jane Fonda, the event honored individuals whose lives and work embody compassion and second chances, while raising critical funds for the world’s largest gang intervention, rehabilitation, and re-entry program founded by Father Greg Boyle.

The evening featured a moving program with a heartfelt presenting speech by board member, actress Camilla Belle, recalling her childhood being brought around the program to then introducing soulful musical performance by Goapele singing her chart-topping hit “Closer” creating an atmosphere of reflection, celebration, and community connection.

2026 Lo Máximo Honorees included:

  • Homeboy Hero: Isaac Gonzales
  • Homegirl Hero: JacQueena Matthews Haynes
  • Community Honoree: Lauren Tom
  • Kinship Honorees: Melanie & Richard Lundquist

Guests in attendance included Tyler Posey, Angelique Cabral, Mayan Lopez, Angelique Cabral, Elsa Marie Collins, Monica Rosenthal, Ylona Garcia, Mishel Prada, and many more gathered in support of Homeboy Industries’ mission.

The evening began with a heartfelt Mass and cocktail reception, followed by a dinner and awards ceremony that highlighted powerful personal stories of resilience and redemption, core to Homeboy Industries’ impact across Los Angeles and beyond.

Proceeds from the gala directly support Homeboy Industries’ comprehensive services, including job training, mental health support, tattoo removal, legal services, and reentry programs that serve thousands annually.
