Today, The Benjamin Hollywood is hosting a one-day pop-up with Pat’s King of Steaks, the 95-year-old South Philadelphia institution and inventor of the Philly Cheesesteak. The anticipated, one-day-only martini and cheesesteak collab returns for the second year in a row in partnership with The Chef Assembly. Pat’s third-generation owner Frankie Olivieri and The Benjamin executive chef Hannah Martin-Duarte will be serving cheesesteaks and cheese fries alongside classic martinis from The Benjamin’s bar team. Tickets include a cheesesteak, cheese fries, a martini and a Pat’s King of Steaks x The Benjamin t-shirt. Rosio Sanchez + Yia Vang at Ditroit

On Saturday, and Sunday, Ditroit, Enrique Olvera’s taqueria in the Arts District, welcomes beloved chefs Rosio Sanchez of Hija de Sanchez Taqueria in Copenhagen, and Yia Vang of Vinai in Minneapolis for a two-day collaboration. Offerings include an octopus al pastor taco with steamed greens and grilled cheese from Sanchez, and a lamb barbacoa taco with five spice, chilies and lime leaves from Vang. The pop-up is hosted in anticipation of The Chef Assembly on Monday, where Sanchez and Vang will both participate in panel programming.
