Coming Soon (7/19): 2nd Annual Venice Beach Run

Registration is now available for the 2nd annual Venice Beach Run, scheduled for Saturday, 7/19, commencing and concluding at the Venice Beach Pier. The event’s proceeds will support the Los Angeles Parks Foundation, established in 2008 to improve and maintain public parks and recreational areas. Proceeds will specifically aid the Venice Beach Recreation Center to foster health and recreation for the community. Organizations such as the LA Parks Foundation are becoming increasingly important as they work to enhance and conserve parks while promoting vital environmental education. The race is open to runners and walkers of all ages and abilities and is the the only race that starts and finishes out over the water on the iconic Venice Beach Pier. Participants can sign up for the fast + flat 5K at 8:30 AM or the Speedy 1 Miler at 10:00 AM, and will receive a commemorative race shirt (with a new design each year!), a custom cinch bag, a die-cast finisher medal, and complimentary downloadable race photos.
