DOUGHBRIK’S Expands from Pizza to Snacks with Launch of Wavers

Digital megastar David Dobrik evolves his pizza empire into the snack space with the introduction of The Original DOUGHBRIK’S Snacks’ Wavers.

Star-Studded Launch Event

On 5/1, pizza connoisseur David Dobrik hosted the official ‘Wavers’ launch event at his Los Angeles home. The poolside celebration welcomed 150 influencers, VIPs, and food industry notables, introducing The Original DOUGHBRIK’S Snacks in partnership with Tastemaker Food’s co-founders Adam Cohen and Jerry Bello.

Notable attendees included Dobrik’s DOUGHBRIK’S partner Ilya Fedorovich, along with Natalie Noel, Breckie Hill, Jessica Felter, Taylor Hudson, and dozens of other social media personalities and industry professionals. The event featured entertainment from DJs Sebastian Topete and Jack Henry, while guests enjoyed a variety of interactive experiences.

The celebration showcased a DOUGHBRIK’S pizza station, a Cloud23 hot sauce station by Chef Luke Thomas featuring “Loco Wavers” pickle-inspired creations, and various activities including life-sized Connect Four, pickleball, and cornhole. Twelve-foot high inflatable versions of the four signature snack flavor bags decorated the venue, while orb balloons and Wavers snack stations were placed throughout the space.

The Wavers Innovation

Inspired by the signature pizza flavors from DOUGHBRIK’S Pizza, this new snack line establishes a new category in the market – Wavers. The collection introduces four distinctive flavors:

  • Late Night Pizza (Dobrik’s favorite)
  • Spicy Pickle (Fedorovich’s favorite)
  • Extra Cheesy
  • Hot Honey

Wavers are designed as a healthier alternative to traditional chips, positioned as “good snacking” rather than junk food. The product contains no artificial flavors, no preservatives, no cholesterol, is trans fat free, non-GMO, and contains only 140 calories per serving.

What makes Wavers unique is their wavy, crunchy texture and varied shapes, creating a different sensory experience with each bite. The snacks aren’t just food products—they represent memories from Dobrik and Fedorovich’s friendship, seasoned with innovation and authenticity.

From Pizza Joint to National Snack Brand

Dobrik and childhood friend Fedorovich first brought their Midwest roots to Los Angeles when they opened their pizza restaurant on the Sunset Strip in 2022. Now, they’re expanding their vision to bring their love for pizza to a global audience through the Wavers snack line.

The official e-commerce site launched on 5/1, at www.eatdoughbriks.com, transitioning from pre-order to immediate availability.

The launch coincides with an upcoming nationwide rollout into all Albertsons retail locations in June. Albertsons, the nation’s second-largest supermarket retailer—which includes banners such as Safeway, Vons, Lucky, Jewel Osco, Acme, and others—will be the first to carry these innovative snacks.

Industry Expertise Behind the Brand

The expansion into snacks comes through a partnership with notable food industry veterans Adam Cohen and Jerry Bello, co-founders of Tastemaker Foods. Both entrepreneurs are known for their success in the consumer packaged goods space and have joined forces with Dobrik and Fedorovich to grow the DOUGHBRIK’S brand beyond its original pizza concept.

This collaboration brings together the social media influence and creativity of Dobrik with the industry knowledge and distribution expertise of seasoned food entrepreneurs—positioning Wavers for potential success in the competitive snack market.
